View from 30,000 Feet
This is a walk with me through my forty-one-year career as a flight attendant—from the sexy and glamorous stewardess of the '60s to the frightening hijacking era of the '70s, the introduction of the wide-body luxury liners of the '80s, my personal experience of 9/11, and flying troops to Rome and Kuwait for the Desert Storm and Iraqi Freedom Operations. The four decades I spent traversing the globe at thirty thousand feet were the most memorable and fulfilling years of my life.
