The Night God Slept: Welcoming a New Baby

Does God really sleep, and if so-does he dream? The little girl in the story has one thing that she wants more than anything in the world: a baby sister. That desire is shared by girls all over the world. It comes with the hope of a lifelong friend, someone to laugh with, share stories, encourage and watch as she grows. In the beginning she doesn't realize how difficult it is to get a baby sister. It's a lot harder than praying for a new bike or doll. She has lots of friends and loves school, but she feels an emptiness that can only be filled by a sister. Then one fall night as she hurries off to bed and says her prayers, she gets the answer she has been waiting for in a very unexpected way. She learns that anything worth having takes faith, patience, and a dream.
