Mistlethrush
Being a part of the underground railroad in 1861 as a Southern plantation owner, if discovered, would be a death sentence. For Catherine and her family, they learn the consequences of that firsthand. As Catherine's and her little brother's lives get turned upside down with the death of their father, they are forced to flee for their lives to an unknown grandmother in England. As Catherine searches for peace, she finds that hardships are inevitable yet finds that happiness can be found even in the most unlikely of places.
