War, although necessary at times, is an abomination of what human existence should be. Bruce Prossick tries to explain it as what it meant to him and how he dealt with it. Some say all should learn from it. He states that we as men and women owe it to our peers and children to teach them and explain our experiences so that they might not make the same mistakes over and over.
