Between Heartaches and Love
This is a love drama born in the 70s in the author's homeland, Bushat Shkoder of Albania. A shy, modest girl shows her enduring love to the boy of her dreams despite the tradition and law of the times. The guy, astonished by the courage and fragility of the young woman who was raised in a small town, was condemned by medical ailments from birth. She begins to feel the first sparks of love, which are mingled with suffering because of the innocence and disease she holds in her heart.
This beautiful sentimental affair blessed by heaven is painfully experienced with a terrible love intrigue on the ambits of tragic fatality. The relationship between two teenagers causes the girl to fall prey in the snare of a rival love, and as a result, she is involved in a car accident with calamitous consequences for life. The mainstream of the novel is extended on the duality of feelings amid pain and love, where sometimes it seems that one of them gets priority and sometimes the other one. Oftentimes, compassion is more noble and divine than love itself because love sometimes demands something in exchange by the partner.
